Vanessa Burris, EMT died in the line of duty in August of 2021 Vanessa worked as an EMT for Cumberland County EMS of Cape Fear Valley EMS and was working towards becoming a Paramedic. Greater than the love she had for helping others was the love for her two children Gabby and Max. Gabby and Max miss their mother terribly but are adjusting to their new life with their Aunt Christen and baby cousin.
