Our Mission

Our mission is to support, honor, and provide access to education for our aspiring and current first responders EMS, Ambulance Personnel, Medical Flight Services and their families. We work to make sure the needs are met for all EMS, First Responders, and their families by providing support or advocating for them on the local and national level. We make sure they are honored and recognized for their dedication to others. Our major mission is to support families that have suffered from losing a loved one in the line of duty.

Support

Support

The For Paul Foundation supports First Responders, EMS, Ambulance Personnel, Medical Flight Services and their families. When a first responder or their family members need support or assistance The For Paul Foundation steps up to help as needed. Through donations, services, or any other areas our first responder families could benefit from.

We are honored to support The National EMS Memorial service by providing comfort bags for families at The National EMS Memorial and sponsor children's activities during the weekend. Our Nationwide Peer Support Group for Families that have experienced a line of duty death takes place monthly.

We support first year Line of Duty families with our "Heroes for the Holiday" program where we help with the holidays for families that have recently suffered a line of duty death. We take care of the holiday needs for each family including decorating their home, holiday dinner, and making sure the children's holiday wish lists are fulfilled.

There is no end to the support we offer our first responders and their families. Just some examples of what we have been able to accomplish: We have provided meals and much needed supplies to First Responders working during national disasters, put together celebrations of life to honor first responders killed in the line of duty , and even helped a department secure and start a Canine program to help with the mental health of our first responders.

Honor

Honor

First Responders, EMS, Ambulance Personnel, Medical Flight Services are truly amazing individuals. These women and men put the lives of others before their own. First Responders work long hours, miss holidays, and are sometimes on the go for their whole shift without being able to take a break. These brave men and women deserve to be honored while they are here and in the unfortunate instance if they are not.

Due to insurmountable need The For Paul Foundation is assembling a Nation Wide Honor Guard willing to leave at a moments notice to ensure any EMS, Ambulance Personnel, Medical Flight Services, Firefighter paid or volunteer  that have lost their life in the line of duty recieve the honor and respect they and their family deserve at their funeral!  Our honor guard will help preserve dignity and honor at their services and will provide comfort and compassion for the survivors. If you would like to become a member of our National Honor Guard Please contact us.

The For Paul Foundation also honors our active and retired heroes with our annual Heroes Dinner. At our Heroes dinner First Responders, EMS, Ambulance Personnel, Medical Flight Services and their families are treated to a gala style dinner at no cost to them.

Educate

The For Paul Foundation is excited to announce that since our inception in 2020 we have been able to award over $22,500 in scholarships to those wishing to start a career in EMS as either an EMT, Paramedic, or Firefighter. Thanks to all of our sponsors but especially our partners IAFF Local #4321 and The South FLorida F.O.O.L.S. for helping us ensure those wishing to enter the field are able to without financial limitations.

Unfortunately, the cost of education is great and many first responders are unable to cover the costs of education or have the ability to take some time off to complete necessary requirements. Scholarships can greatly help them achieve their goals of continuing to serve the public and we will continue to add additional opportunities as available.
